The Nanaimo Arts Council publishes an online newsletter every two weeks for its readers (circ. 1,200). One of the benefits of membership is the option to post an ad or announcement that will reach a large audience within the arts community.

Members can post up to 4 consecutive (no art changes) or non-consecutive ads annually. Arts organizations (gallery, museum, arts council) can post multiple event ads throughout the year.

All incorporated not-for-profit and business organizations must be members to post an ad.  An individual member can place an advertisement on behalf of an organization if it is a sole proprietorship (a non-registered, unincorporated business).

Annual membership fees

• Students $0
• Individuals $20 or pay an optional $30 to support students

Not-for-Profit and Business Organizations
• Micro 1-9 employees $50
• Small 10-99 employees $75
• Medium 100-499 employees $100
• Large 500+ $250
