Poem submissions open until June 14

We are seeking poem submissions for the 2024 Ekphrastic Celebration, where poets will craft a poem about a visual image they select from the gallery. This competition is open to NAC members only. To enroll, visit nanaimoartscouncil.ca/memberships. Poems are limited to 40 lines, but are not restricted to any particular poetic form or style.

Local judges will award prizes to the top poems, and to the selected artworks.

Note: While poetry submissions are open, the artworks will only be identified with the names of the artists. Titles and prices will be added for the final month of the show, after poetry submissions close.
