Submissions to the Art Exhibition open until May 8th
We are seeking art submissions for the 2026 Ekphrastic Celebration, where poets will craft a poem about a visual image they select from the gallery. This competition is open to NAC members only. To register, visit nanaimoartscouncil.ca/memberships.
Local judges will award prizes to the top poems, and to the selected artworks.
Before submission, please review the event rules & details, and review the general submission guidelines.
Of particular note: The artwork selection process will be competitive, and only twenty-five pieces will be chosen for exhibition by the NAC selection committee. Adult entry fees are non-refundable.
