Beginner scribblers, seasoned professional artists, everyone in-between! Join us for another Nanaimo Sketch Club meetup, where people feel free to work on their sketch practice and connect with like-minded people in a friendly, inclusive, supportive environment.
For this free event, meet in the parking lot outside Bowen Park Complex, near the lawn bowling building, for a non-guided sketching and chit-chat session, for about two hours. There are some interesting buildings here, as well as the gorgeous park. We’ll try to get back together around noon to take a group snap of our sketches – but if you feel you don’t want to participate in that, that’s totally fine. Feel free to post your sketches so we can see what you saw.
Bring: Your sketchbook, your favourite drawing / painting implements, and a portable chair.
